KABUL: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, in a message expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims of the Herat-Kandahar highway traffic incident.
“We have received heartbreaking news of a traffic accident on the Herat-Kandahar highway, resulting in the martyrdom of 21 of our fellow countrymen and injuries to 38 others,” said Mawlavi Mujahid.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid has urged drivers to exercise caution while driving and obey traffic laws and regulations.
He asked paradise for the martyrs and swift recovery for the injured.
This morning, as a result of collision of a fuel tanker and a 580-type passenger bus 21 people have been martyred and 38 others injured in the country’s southern province of Helmand.
Earlier, the number of victims of the incident was said to be 21 dead and 11 injured.
