KABUL: Construction work on five small water reservoirs with a cost of 13 million Afghanis, has been inaugurated in Paktika, according to the Ministry of Water and Energy.
According to the source, the water reservoirs will be funded by the Ministry of Water and Energy and will be constructed in the Tarwa, Wazikhwah, Khairkot, Naka and Chaharbaran districts of the province.
According to the evaluation of the ministry with the construction of the water reservoirs 42,000 cubic meters of water will be saved.
These reservoirs will also strengthen the management of underground waters.
