KABUL: Following the Humanitarian aid distribution process, over 11,000 destitute families received aids in five provinces of the country, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements.
The aids included foodstuff and cash provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to needy families in collaboration with the relevant directorates of the ministry in Laghman, Kandahar, Baghlan, Takhar and Jawzjan provinces.
Efforts are underway by Emirati institutions to provide people with a secure environment and address their social challenges
