KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi said that the media play a role in reflecting the contents of the National Archives for the people, Arg said in a statement today.
He made the remarks this morning while visiting the exhibition of the Islamic arts and the manuscripts of the holy Quran, held by the Ministry of Information and Culture.
“Protecting the country’s historical monuments and preventing them from being damaged and smuggled is everyone’s responsibility,” said Deputy PM adding that the existence of these monuments is necessary for the future generations of the country.
The National Archive of the Ministry of Information and Culture holds thousands of historical documents and arts including Manuscripts of the Holy Quran, Diwan Hafez, Diwan Rahman Baba, Kuliat Bidel, Masnawi and Maanawi and others, which have been put into the exhibition.
