KABUL: The leadership and members of the 207 Al-Farooq Army Corps stationed in the western part of the country have distributed foodstuff to 80 returning families from Iran and Pakistan.
The provided supplies include rice, oil, beans, chickpeas, tea, and sugar for each family, they amry corps said in a statement.
The aim of distributing these supplies is to support and assist needy families and returning migrants during the holy month of Ramadan.
The members of the Islamic Army are active not only in safeguarding and defending the territorial integrity of the country but also in social, cultural, and emergency relief efforts.
During the blessed month of Ramadan, providing Iftar meals, especially for students, has been one of their social and cultural activities.
