KABUL: As a result of the collapse of a house roof, seven members of a family have lost their lives in Helmand province, local officials confirmed.
Helmand’s provincial Director of Information and Culture, Hafiz Abdul Bari Rashid, said that the accident took place late on night, in the Kajaki district of Helmand province.
As a result of the incident seven members of a family lost their lives and three other people were also wounded as a result of the collapse of a wall, he said.
The recent heavy rainfall at the beginning of the current year in the country has not only caused casualties but has also inflicted huge financial losses on the people.
