KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements that 17,300 families received humanitarian assistance in seven provinces of the country.
According to the statement, the humanitarian assistance included cash and foodstuff distributed to destitute families in Nangarhar, Zabul, Kandahar, Takhar, Khost Laghman and Jawzjan provinces.
The aids provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) distributed to needy families in collaboration with the provincial directorates of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, said the statement.
