Chinese Red Cross Donates $100,000 to Afghan Red Crescent Society

KABUL: The Chinese ambassador to Kabul, Zhao Xing, said in a statement on his account, that the Chinese Red Cross has donated $100,000 to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

The aid packages by the Chinese Red Cross officials were handed over to the Afghanistan Red Crescent Society in Kabul.

The assistance will be used for the support of natural-affected families of the country, said the ambassador.

China is among the countries assisting Afghanistan.

Previously, the country also provided humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims in Herat.
