KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today that the Police Special Forces rescued three people from the clutches of kidnappers in Nangarhar province.
“The 999th Police Special Forces, during an operation, rescued three people who were kidnapped yesterday afternoon by unknown individuals from the Shaikh Masri township in Nangarhar province,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the operation to rescue the mentioned individuals lasted six and a half hours, as a result of which five people, including two women and three men, were also arrested.
