KABUL: The Deputy Public Health Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Dr. Mohammad Hassan Gheyasi, attended the 8th Regional Conference on “Public Health Development, Preparedness and Response; Challenges, Opportunities Ways Forward” in Oman.
The representatives of 22 countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region participated in this conference, in which strengthening the health status, preparing for emergencies in the health sector, strengthening vaccination programs, increasing the capacity of health workers, and many other health issues were discussed.
