KABUL: The Islamic Emirate is determined to control and destroy drug plantations and has completely stopped smuggling, buying, and selling, but the international community, despite repeated promises, has not fulfilled its commitments in counter-narcotics.
The police spokesman of the Uruzgan province, Bilal Uruzgani, in an interview with Omid Radio, said that a drug factory was discovered in the province and 4,500 narcotics were destroyed.
“The security forces also seized two motorcycles, a sawmill, a machine, three barrels of oil, 50 bottles of acid, and a bag,” he said.
Uruzgani added that based on the degree of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Amir-ul-Momineen Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada, no one is allowed to cultivate and deal with drugs.
In a statement, the Panjshir Police office said that it has arrested 13 drug users and sellers and 15 acres of hashish lands were also destroyed in Khanj district of the province.
