KABUL: The Afghan U19 cricket team defeated Pakistan’s U19 team in the final match of the tri-nation series.
The captain of the U19 Afghan team, Mahboob Tasin, won the toss of today’s game and decided to bat.
Afghan players scored 250 runs in the allotted 50 overs and set a target of 251 runs for the rival team.
The Pakistani team could not win the match due to the loss of all players.
Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates were part of this series.
The Afghanistan 19-year-old team won 4 of their 5 games and lost only one game to Pakistan.
