KABUL: Following the aid distribution process, over 37,000 families received humanitarian aids in 8 provinces of the country, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement to Radio Omid.
The World Food Programme (WFP) provided foodstuff and cash assistance to needy families in Helmand, Nangarhar, Samangan, Kabul, Sar-e-Pul, Parwan, Baghlan and Paktia provinces, said the statement. The assistance was distributed to the needy families with the cooperation of the ministry’s relevant departments in the provinces.
