KABUL: construction work on three water supply projects worth 16.9 million Afghani have been started in the Kandahar province, providing hundreds of families with potable water, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement to Radio Omid on Thursday.
The welfare projects will be built on the outskirts of the Arghistan district of Kandahar province, said the statement.
During the implementation of the projects, dozens of people will be provided with job opportunities, and 655 families will have access to safe drinking water in the province.
