KABUL: The second round of swimming competitions, with the participation of dozens of athletes, wrapped up in Kabul, the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said in a statement late on Sunday night.
According to the statement, swimmers from the Atlas swimming pool secured first place, while swimmers from the Lajward pool achieved second place.
A total of 45 swimmers participated in the competitions held at the Amu pool in Kabul, across youth and adult age categories.
The goal of these competitions is to promote the sport of swimming in the country.
