HERAT: Shaikh Mawlavi Islamjar, Governor of the country’s western province of Herat, inaugurated the construction work on four development projects worth 26 million Afghani in Gulran district, the governor’s press office said in a statement today.
The projects include the construction of three water supply networks and the asphalting of Qarabagh Bazar road, the statement said.
During the inauguration ceremony, Shaikh Mawlavi Islamjar said that the construction work on a road connecting Shindand, Gulran, and Kashk-e-Kohna districts will be kicked off soon.
With the implementation of the projects, dozens of people will be provided with job opportunities in the province.
