KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, welcomed his Iranian counterpart Sayed Abbas Araghchi, here in Kabul, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson of the foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
According to him, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi received the Iranian Foreign Minister at the Islamic Emirate’s Foreign Ministry, where a bilateral meeting was held between the two sides.
No more details have been provided about the issues discussed during the meeting.
Sayed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Kabul at the head of a political and economic delegation from Iran today.
During his stay in Kabul, he will hold meetings with the Islamic Emirate officials.
