KABUL: Spokesman of the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports Atal Mashwani said today that two Afghan Paralympic athletes left the country for Japan to recieve training.
According to him, the athletes are Ali Sajjad Hamraz and Mohammad, and both are members of the Afghan Paralympic taekwondo team.
The training period for Afghan Paralympic athletes is set to begin on February 8th and will continue until the 14th.
This training camp aims to prepare the athletes for participation in next year’s Paralympic competitions.
The Paralympic Games are scheduled to be hosted in Tokyo, Japan, in 2026, featuring participation from various Asian countries.
