Passenger plane with over 60 board collided with military helicopter in Washington

KABUL: A passenger plane carrying 64 people has crashed at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C, CNN reported today.

The American Airlines flight collided with a military helicopter, resulting in casualties, although the exact number of fatalities is not yet known.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that the plane fell into the water after the crash, and no survivors have been recovered so far.

Officials indicated that a Black Hawk helicopter, with three personnel onboard conducting training exercises, collided with the passenger plane near the airport runway.

Rescue operations for the victims of this incident have begun.
