KABUL: The Ministry of Information and Culture has announced the establishment of a committee for the use of words, titles, and terminology in the country’s media.
According to a statement from the ministry on Tuesday, the committee was established during a regular meeting of the Media Violations Commission, chaired by Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi.
The committee established to strengthen Islamic and national identity in media programming.
The Ministry of Information and Culture also noted that complaints from the radio stations of “Lawang” and Sada-e-Zan “Voice of Women” were reviewed during the meeting.
The Media Violations Commission regularly addresses violations in the media and resolves their issues.
