India allocates one billion rupees to Afghanistan in new fiscal year

KABUL: India has announced its budget for the new fiscal year, which includes an allocation of one billion rupees for Afghanistan.
While it is reported that India is reducing its foreign aid in general, it has chosen not to cut its assistance to Afghanistan.
Additionally, India has allocated another billion rupees for the Chabahar port project.
Last Saturday, India presented its budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, which allocates over 548 billion Indian rupees for foreign aid.
Recently, relations between Kabul and New Delhi have expanded significantly.
