KABUL: The meeting of the High Commission for Addressing Migrant Issues was held with the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, deputy spokesman of the IEA Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, said in a statement this morning.
The allocation of land for refugee settlement in Zabul province, land grants to migrants in various provinces, the relocation of internally displaced persons from Kabul to their respective provinces, and assistance for internally displaced persons in Nangarhar province have been discussed in the meeting said the statement.
Also, the members reviewed reports from the Grand Directorate for Oversight of the Decrees and Orders of the Esteemed Amir al-Mumineen and made necessary decisions in this regard.
Working committees of the High Commission for Addressing Migrant Issues also shared their achievements during the meeting.
The High Commission was established by the leader of the Islamic Emirate to resolve the issues of migrants and address their needs.
