KABUL: A tragic traffic accident in Guatemala has resulted in the deaths of at least 51 people, Reuters reported.
The incident occurred on Monday night near the capital of Guatemala when a passenger bus fell off a bridge into the sea near the capital, as a result of which 51 people, including 15 women, were killed.
In response to the tragedy, the Guatemalan presidency has declared three days of national mourning to express condolences to the families of the victims.
Guatemala is a Central American country with a population of over 17 million people.
