KABUL: Mawlawlvi Mati-ul Haq Khalis, President of the National Environmental Protection Agency, met with Per Albert Salas, the Chargé d’Affaires of Norway to Kabul, here in his office.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the implementation of effective projects to combat climate change.
Mawlavi Khalis urged the Norwegian Chargé d’Affaires to use their influence to secure support from international environmental organizations for the approval of Afghanistan’s climate projects.
The Norwegian Chargé d’Affaires praised the efforts of the National Environmental Protection Agency and assured cooperation in the fight against climate change.
Also, both parties emphasized the importance of developing relations between the National Environmental Protection Agency and the Norwegian Embassy, as well as enhancing joint collaborations.
