According to the Associated Press, the incident occurred this morning [Thursday, February 13] on the demonstration of the service workers’ unions in Munich.
German police reported to Reuters that the suspect, a 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, has been arrested.
The incident comes amid Germany’s recent acceleration of deportations of Afghan criminals.
