Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar discussed various issues with Qatar’s Prime Minister in Doha

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, left the country for Qatar, where he discussed various issues with the Prime Minister of that country, his office said in a statement on Thursday.
During his visit, he met with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, and discussed relations between Afghanistan and Qatar, as well as economic matters.
The statement mentioned that investments by Qatar in Afghanistan were also discussed between the two sides.
Qatar has maintained strong relations with the Islamic Emirate, having an active embassy in Kabul for over three years.
