KABUL: The deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, said in a statement today, that as a result of efforts of the Islamic Emirate’s embassy in Cairo, cthe apital of Egypt ,17 Afghan citizens have been released from prisons of various countries.
“These 17 Afghan citizens were freed from prisons in Egypt, Morocco, Libya, Sudan, and Mauritania, and have been transported back to Afghanistan by Ariana Airlines,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the Afghan citizens were released as a result of coordination efforts between the Afghan embassy in Cairo and the mentioned countries.
