KABUL: The foundation stone for the administrative building of the Natural Disaster Management Authority in Maidan Wardak province, along with its related warehouse, worth 13 million Afghanis, was laid during a ceremony today.
Speaking in the ceremony, Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, head of the National Disaster Management Authority, stated that his led department is planning to construct buildings and warehouses for its provincial offices in five provinces across the country.
The construction of the mentioned office is expected to be completed and ready for use within the next six months.
The facility will be built as a two-story structure.
It is noteworthy that the Natural Disaster Management Authority in Maidan Wardak has previously operated from rented buildings.
