Chief of Armed Forces inspects repair of MI-17 helicopters

KABUL: The country’s Chief of the Armed Forces, Qari Mohammad Fasihuddin Fitrat, visited various departments of the Air Force and Air Defense Command today.

According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, during his visit, Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, who was accompanied by the General Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, also inspected the repairing process of two MI-17 helicopters.

The Chief of the Armed Forces praised the efforts of the personnel of the Air Forces and technical staff, who are working to repair various aircraft and prepare them for flight.

The efforts carried out by the country’s brave technical and military personnel are considered a significant step towards the revitalization and strengthening of the Afghan Air Force, as well as the consolidation of national sovereignty.
