U.S. senators reject Trump’s plan for forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza

KABUL: Two prominent U.S. senators have rejected Donald Trump’s proposal for the forced expulsion of Palestinians from their lands, media reported.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, speaking with the reporters on Monday night, said that Trump’s proposal in the U.S. Senate lacks support, as there is no backing for the idea of occupying Gaza within the chamber.

Blumenthal stated that the plan for the U.S. occupation of the Gaza Strip is impractical.

He emphasized that Arab League countries will present an alternative plan for the future of the Gaza Strip.

This comes as Arab nations, led by Saudi Arabia, are working on an alternative proposal to Trump’s plan regarding Gaza.
