KABUL: The Counter-Narcotics Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Abdul Haq Akhund, and his accompanying delegation left for Iran to discuss countering drugs issues, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, the delegation traveled to Iran based on an official invitation to discuss and exchange views and expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of fighting against drugs. The Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has always been trying to fight against the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics nationwide.
