KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, in a meeting with the leadership and members of the Uruzgan’s Ulama Council, emphasized that scholars currently have the best opportunity to serve the people.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, said today that the Supreme Leader praised the activities of Uruzgan’s Ulama Council and stressed: “Scholars should work diligently to enlighten the public and convey the teachings of Islam.”
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate also tasked scholars with addressing the people’s problems and resolving disputes among them.
He also assured the Ulama of Uruzgan that their problems would be addressed.
