KABUL: In a meeting with Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the Acting Minister of Energy and Water, officials of the Iran Transfo Group of Companies, said they are interested in investing in Afghanistan’s energy projects.
According to a statement from the ministry on Tuesday, providing information about their activities and experiences, they stated that their group of companies is interested in investing in implementing energy production projects, developing energy networks, and providing equipment needed for power grids in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Mullah Mansour appreciated the interest of the companies in the investment in the country’s energy projects, stating that it would be better that technical meetings should be held between the technical teams of both sides to reach an understanding on the project identification, investment methods, and other necessary coordinations.
