KABUL: Following statements from Iran’s Supreme Leader, President Masoud Pezeshkian has once again rejected dialogue with U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the country’s nuclear program. During a meeting with several Iranian producers and traders, he responded to Trump, saying, “Whatever they do, let them do it.”
In response to these remarks, the White House reiterated Trump’s position that Iran must either reach an agreement or face military action.
Brian Hughes, spokesperson for the National Security Council, firmly stated to international media that Iran has two options, ‘ military action or an agreement’.
This comes amid reports that Trump previously sent a letter to Iran, urging the country to engage in talks with the U.S. regarding its nuclear program.
