KABUL: The deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, in response to the recent remarks of Pakistan’s representative and some other biased and hateful statements at the United Nations, deeming the meeting unproductive for the country.
Fitrat stated that Afghanistan’s absence from the meeting is detrimental because some parties are treating Afghanistan with hostility and presenting a false image of the country.
“As Afghanistan is a peaceful country with a unified system, the United Nations should recognize Afghanistan’s seat in order to ensure fair judgment and prevent biased actions,” he said.
It is noteworthy that during the UN meeting, several countries, including India and Russia, acknowledged the achievements of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan.
