KABUL: The Iranian Emergency officials have said that the number of individuals injured in the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, Harrmozgan Province, has risen to 406.
Iran’s state media, including the IRIB News Agency, announced, there have been no reports of fatalities so far.
Meanwhile, the Tasnim news agency has exclusively reported that the incident occurred as a result of the explosion of a fuel tank in Bandar Abbas.
However, the exact cause of the explosion and the extent of the damage are unclear so far.
Reports indicate that the explosion was so powerful that windows of buildings several kilometers away from the site were shattered.
