KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the
Islamic Emirate, Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, participated in a one-day seminar, held for officials of jihadist schools in Kandahar, where he provided guidance to the attendees.
The deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, said in a statement that the seminar was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, the General Director of Jihadist Schools, directors, teachers, administrators, and supervisors.
During the seminar, he praised the services of all officials and referred to scholars as holding a high status, dignity, and honor.
In the statement, he emphasized, “Scholars are not only responsible for individual acts of worship but also for performing collective worship and engaging in politics, as mandated by Allah after the Prophets. Scholars should address the community’s social and political issues, engage in jihad, implement Sharia, and resolve disputes among the people.”
He also urged the teachers of jihadist schools to focus on the education and upbringing of students, as well as on shaping their beliefs and thoughts.
He advised that teachers should ensure both the outward and inward training of students and educate them about the rights of parents, teachers, and others.
He emphasized the importance of cooperation with other institutions and fostering mutual trust among themselves.
