KABUL: According to reports from Iranian state media, the aluminum production company “Bin Simon” has been targeted in a cyber attack.
The news agency Tasnim reported today that the attack has caused all of the company’s equipment to go offline and resulted in the extraction of production-related information.
It has been noted that “Bin Simon” is a contractor for the Israeli military.
However, no information has been released regarding which entity or group carried out the cyber attack.
This incident occurs amid ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, with both sides targeting each other through military and cyber operations. In response to Israeli cyberattacks aimed at protecting its military and civilian assets, the Iranian government has cut off global internet access to the country.
