Four development projects implemented in Paktika

KABUL: The Ministry of Water and Energy said in a statement that four development projects worth 15,924,435 Afghanis were implemented in Paktika province.
The projects included the construction of the Khanjaki dam, the Atakhuni pond, and the Shatur irrigation channel, implemented in the districts of Jani Khel, Omna, and Sharana, the capital of Paktika.
The Khanjaki dam has a length of 76 meters and a height of 4 meters, with a capacity to store 22,690 cubic meters of water, and was implemented from the Ministry of Water and Energy’s budget.
The statement also mentioned that the funding for the other three projects was provided by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
This comes as part of ongoing efforts to implement development projects aimed at improving the lives of citizens across various regions of the country.
