Iran to hold funeral for senior military commanders next week

KABUL: Nearly a day after the ceasefire between the Israeli regime and Iran began, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it will hold a funeral for its killed commanders at the start of next week.
Tasnim News Agency, reported today that the bodies of the senior commanders will be honored in a national ceremony at 8:00 AM on Saturday in front of Tehran University.
The statement mentioned that the funeral will be attended by a large number of Iranian citizens.
Additionally, the body of Mohammad Hossein Salami, a IRGC commander, is set to be buried tomorrow Thursday in his hometown of Golpayegan, which is located in Isfahan Province.
About thirteen days ago, around 20 senior military commanders of Iran were killed in what has been described as a surprise attack by the Israeli regime.
It is also reported that several other IRGC commanders lost their lives during the 13 days of conflict between the two sides.
