KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has participated in the 11th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in the main hall of the conference.
The deputy PM office for Economic Affairs said in a statement that during the summit Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev welcomed Mr. Baradar’s participation and expressed gratitude for Afghanistan’s presence at the ECO summit.
This summit, aimed at expanding economic, transit, and trade cooperation among member states of the ECO, is considered an important regional diplomatic opportunity for Afghanistan.
