Firefighters struggle to contain California’s biggest-ever blazes

KABUL: From the past two days, extensive wildfires are continuing in San Luis and Bispo counties, in California.

According to a report from The New York Times, the fire has so far burned nearly 80,000 acres and is still spreading. Firefighting crews have managed to control only about 10% of the blaze.

As a result of the wildfire, a major highway has been closed, and residents have been advised to evacuate to safer areas.

The California firefighting agency has labeled this as the largest wildfire of the year.
