KABUL: A number of Russian media outlets have reported that tourism companies in Russia have recently created opportunities for weekly trips to Afghanistan, with costs reaching approximately $3,000.
The reports indicate that the market for tourism opportunities in Afghanistan has become increasingly attractive to Russians, with growing enthusiasm among people to travel there.
This initiative comes after Moscow officially recognized the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, leading to increased attention on Afghanistan’s tourism market.
Notably, last week, Russia became the first country to recognize the Islamic Emirate, paving the way for the expansion of political, economic, and trade relations between the two nations.
