As an independent country, Afghanistan wants good relations with all countries, Minister Muttaqi 

KABUL: Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has met with the heads, deputies, and staff of the ministry to discuss the seventh “Moscow Format” meeting and his subsequent trip to India.

According to a statement from the ministry on Thursday, during the meeting, the Foreign Minister described the recent Moscow Format meeting as unprecedented, noting that representatives from Russia, China, and other countries expressed positive positions on issues such as political and economic stability in Afghanistan, non-interference, the release of frozen assets, humanitarian aid, joint cooperation, and respect for Afghanistan’s sovereignty.

He also mentioned that during his visit to India, discussions were held with Indian investors regarding investment opportunities in Afghanistan and how to address existing challenges.

Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttqi reiterated that Afghanistan has an independent system, follows a balanced policy, and seeks good relations with all countries based on its national interests.

It is noteworthy that Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi returned to the country yesterday after a nine-day trip to Russia and India.
