KABUL: Nooruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, and his accompanying delegation, have participated in the 30th International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference held in Turkmenistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry today, the exhibition and conference have been attended by specialists and representatives from international companies and are considered an important opportunity for expanding economic cooperation among regional countries.
The ministry reported that Mr. Azizi’s visit, along with his high-level delegation, was made at the official invitation of the Turkmen government.
The statement noted that during the program, the Minister of Industry and Commerce met and discussed with several foreign officials and investors about developing economic relations, increasing investment, and collaborating in the oil, gas, and related industries.
The statement added that the active participation of the Afghan delegation reflects the commitment of the Islamic Emirate to strengthening regional economic relations and attracting investment to the country.
This comes at a time when Afghanistan’s political and economic ties with regional countries are expanding day by day.
