KABUL: Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), met with Annageldi Saparov, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Energy.
According to a statement from DABS today, the discussions between Dr. Omar and Mr. Saparov, held on the sidelines of the International Exhibition and Conference on Energy, Construction, Industry, and Chemical Development 2025 of Turkmenistan, focused on energy development projects, particularly the 500-kilovolt power transmission line project.
No further details of the discussions were provided in the statement.
The international exhibition and conference aim to strengthen regional and international cooperation and promote the development of the energy, construction, industry, and chemical sectors.
An Afghan delegation, led by the CEO of Breshna Company, participated in the event to represent Afghanistan’s interests.
