Over 50 development projects worth 84 million Afghanis inaugurated in Samangan

KABUL: The construction of 51 development projects valued at 84 million Afghanis has been completed and officially inaugurated during a ceremony in Samangan province.

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development told Radio Omid that the projects were built in various parts of the Khorm Sarbagh district through the local directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

The projects include the rehabilitation and graveling of rural roads, construction of gabion and retaining walls, footbridges, and irrigation canals.

With the completion of these public welfare projects, many environmental issues faced by the residents of the district have been addressed.

Additionally, during a visit to Paktika province, the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development laid the foundation stone for the construction of a mosque in the premises of the provincial directorate, valued at one million Afghanis.
