KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for Afghanistan’s Islamic Emirate, has described the recent decision by the Australian government to impose travel restrictions on cabinet officials as “ineffective and fruitless.”
In an audio message released today, Mujahid reacted to this decision, asserting that such unwarranted sanctions and unjust actions have no basis.
He emphasized that the Afghan government and its officials have no dealings with Australia, nor do they see the need to engage with the country.
He also stated that nations worldwide should understand the realities of Afghanistan, suggesting that instead of taking unhealthy stances, it would be better to engage in dialogue and seek solutions.
According to the spokesperson, such decisions carry no benefits beyond serving as unnecessary posturing.
It is noteworthy that the Australian government has recently imposed travel restrictions on officials of the Islamic Emirate.
