KABUL: Iranian media have reported that Ali Ardestani has been executed on charges of espionage.
According to reports, Ardestani was active as an operational member for Mossad and had access to sensitive information.
Sources indicate that he took photographs of certain special and sensitive locations under the direction of Mossad officers and provided information concerning targeted individuals to this intelligence agency.
Reports further suggest that he received his financial rewards in cryptocurrency after completing each mission.
Iranian officials stated that he was involved in activities against national security, and the execution order was carried out following the completion of the relevant legal proceedings.
