KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs, said in a statement today that the ministry’s police forces have discovered and destroyed two drug production factories in Farah and Helmand provinces.
The statement noted that hundreds of kilograms of materials used in the production of drugs were also seized and destroyed from these factories. However, the ministry did not provide information on whether anyone was arrested in connection with the operations of these two factories.
This comes on the heels of another incident yesterday, where a man was arrested in Kunduz along with approximately 170 kilograms of drugs.
